The welcome and wtf thread

Welcome, players. As you see, we're still finishing the forum, but you can already start doing your stuff.

I'd suggest you take a look at the Pendorian Chronicles to see what has happened in the previous century. Afterward, you check the Knighthood Orders overview and pick the one you find most interesting. Then, finally, create your character. I still have to add some traits, but the basics are already there.

Also important: please report any bugs or problems you find. For us admins the forum is about 12 times bigger than it is for you, so we may have overlooked something that is obvious for you.

Well, this is a terrible color.

About the rank: you can be a anything from high officer to squire. Players can't start as grandmasters, vice-grandmasters, generals or in similarly powerful positions.

About the board: IC-wise all orders* have two properties: a relatively small chapterhouse in a friendly city and a larger fortress outside.



*. There are a few exceptions.

* One of these expections seems to be Griffon Chapterhouse if the description is to be believed.

Also, there goes my plan to make a grandmaster... But I can see the forum, thanks! I do agree on the weirdness of the colour, though.

Actually the Silvermists and Gauntlets are the ones without proper chapterhouses (the have no friends in any city, but they make up for it in personal skill). The Eventide has two fortresses.

This is what you should be seeing in your board:

They are two different things. By the way, since you're the first Griffon you get to choose a better name for your fortress. The current one is temporary.

I've just changed the color, but it didn't help. Sorry, we have more orders than available colors. Unless you want us to make everthing a shade of red and blue

I meant the part that the Chapterhouse is small. In the description it is large and well-fortified. I will start working on the name, though.

So you don't have bright yellow? Dragons could be given the untaken light blue while we take that one.

Hello everyone, I posted my bio but can't decide right now which order to join, mainly because the character holds a grudge against all Orders.

Radiant Cross might work, they are trying to raise funds for another crusade in Amala and are really now a "foreign" Order.

Radant Cross or Clarion Call it will be. But as I am no noble of Pendor I guess it will be the Radiant Cross.

The Clarion Call are in the process of being tweaked - imagine them as the Dragons of Pendor (ie Pendor Nationalists, and very anti-foreigner) so are the opposite to what you wanted really.

Ok thanks, I edited my Bio and now I am a member of the Radiant Cross. Could I rename the Fortress to "The last Hope"?

Hello I was thinking of being a bastard in the Order of the Clarion Call or a descendant of Aodh in the Radiant Cross, but haven't decided yet and to be honest don't have time at the moment i'll fill it in later
