Is there any length of bio that is too long for any of you? I like to write (I'm not particularly good at) so I will expand quite a bit more than is needed.

Posted known information for Griffons, Silvermists, Gauntlets and Dragons. Dawn, Radiant Cross and the rest are being prepared for tomorrow, probably.

Although it may not seem that way, there is no correct reaction: do what you think is right/useful/cool.

You may contact other orders for additional information, alliances, or the usual death threat. Mind you, however, that information isn't cheap.

For those that have had the information already posted... some of you might be scratching your heads at the lack of specific information on a certain matter. It will be posted shortly. /confuse-everyone

Yes, the grandmaster gives the orders. Whether you will follow them is another story. The important thing is that you stick to your order's general ideology. This doesn't prevent you from interpreting the commands in a different way. There is also no obstacle to lateral thinking e.g. waiting until the other orders have sent their detachments to Windholm and attacking their fortresses by surprise.

By the way, did you come up with a better name for your respective fortresses?

Since the start of the event is still several days away (depending on how recruitment on TW goes, anyway) we're going to set up 'social' event for the characters to mingle. There is no obligation to participate if social RP isn't your thing... I don't foresee any renown being earned, but who knows. Wars have been started at fancier social gatherings I suppose! It will be a festival commemorating a major battle before the founding of Pendor 500 years ago, as a lead up to the celebrations that will occur later in the IC year.


More importantly on the status of Orders here: They are considered to be 'outside' of the feudal contracts between the King and the Nobles. They can fight with each other all they please, and there will be no legal implications unless the lord of the area is displeased. The most powerful lords already have an Order that will nominally obey them, so as a whole the nobility is not in the Noble War mindset. As a consequence the Orders are able to act against the greater nobility on an individual basis without too many macro problems. If Orders killing/overthrowing/otherwise-damaging nobles were to become a trend, then there might be problems. The same would be true if an Order were thought to be going on an anti-Noble crusade. In the short term though, the Order Supporters act as a shield for their Orders against most types macro political problems.

So, when do we begin?

I'm thinking 2-3 days after the post on TW goes up. (Hopefully today. We didn't want to post yesterday since Iskar advertised the new Aftermath thing, and we don't want him to feel slighted.) So, sunday is likely... just as we'd planned originally, one week after launch.

The social RP is up too.

Note: The remaining letters have been posted. Also, all have been updated in minor ways. Nothing substantial, just expanded and/or tightened up where needed.

Some of the letters have been edited to include necessary information. About half of the Orders have this information.

The Essential Information threads have been updated with information about the Supporter of each Order. All but the Griffons and Eventide are up now.
