Let the violence, glory-gaining, metaphorical and literal backstabbing begin!

| Haha you are right, they are a nice read.. though I missed a certain Barclay invasion in the timeline Anyways, I'm trying to figure out how Haegon passed away and Matarys' line became dragons... | |

| Treason during the Ravenstern Revolt, perhaps? Perhaps Duke Mastifus was more charismatic and less punchable than his forefather namesake. | |

I think it would happen if Haegon got killed somewhere down the line, before retrieving Matadyr... Or a forceful recruitment by the Dragons?

I decided Haegon to be murdered by Barclay agents of Conquistador Carranza for giving him misinformation wich caused the latter to be involved in some overseas war he couldn't win. Serves him right!

| That ties nicely to the story I was planning for Azrael, thanks! How about that happening 6 years after the beginning of Aftermath (4 years from the current point)? | |

Is that during or after the war of the nobles?

| I believe the timeline has the Aelfwine Affair starting 6 years after the Unification / First Events there. It's all a bit fuzzy though. | |

| That would mean Aftermath started 4 years after the unification, if it helps. | |

| Year 374 AF (After Founding) - Year of Unification 380 AF -Siege of Javiksholm, Aelfwine Affair 382 AF -Noble Wars begin 375 AF -Battle of the Steppe, Clarion Call enforces independence from Silvermists. Silvermists outlawed. Remnants divide into two factions and flee into Elacrai or Larian Woods.
Small timeline skip/return there. I just started writing and made Haegon die in an ambush during the Noble wars. But if you give me an event that fits in your timeline please bring it forth, I'll change it.

| Those are all we have. I'll fix that 375 mistake.
We tried to be general about the Aftermath events. An amusing point though: Had I stayed as Voice, and Saeros in the Silvermist, it turns out that the Noble Wars really would have happened. The winner is indeterminable from this viewpoint, but there really would have been nobles calling their levies and marching against the Orders... specifically the Silvermist.

| We consider some registers were lost. Besides, remember that the Great Library of Poinsbruk was destroyed as well.
Which is also why each order has a different interpretation of the past century.
EDIT: yes, Saeros would burn, explode and murder his way to Marleons.

| On a related note, how confusing are the various parts here? We've gone through many versions, so for my part at least, when I read these nuggets of information it's perfectly clear to me (it's all in my head, after all!). Mainly I'm concerned about character creation. Those familiar with Aftermath will have a general idea of the alter-history when they read the timeline, those that aren't.... they're going to have questions anyway I expect. | |

| That's why I'm more interested in character creation and finding that information and such. That's the more important part for new players to find clear... learning the lore just takes time and exposure to it. | |

The actual forum starts and ends on a fixed amount of space (don't know how to type this in english) in the page. Basically I have a netbook and this thing is much smaller than Aftermath. (though it has the same coding.)
