| You know, when I said 500 renown for doing all of Pendor....
(Seriously though, that is incredible! It never occurred to me to do a map of Pendor...)
I suggest playing the Magyars! (Just don't fight the bloody Bulgarians... for some reason I need triple the men to beat them in a battle. Just having double results in defeat... crushing defeat.)

| I reckon if the scale of the map was upped a bit, the terrain features could be a lot more accurate, too.... | |

| That's awesome. Reminds me of the Game of Thrones mod, though obviously nowhere near that scale. | |

So, for all you Game of Thrones fans out there. Just saw the Red Wedding from the TV series. Do you think they did it justice? Personally I think they got it almost spot on, with the exception of Grey Wind. He should have died fighting like he did in the book!

| I'm not sure I like all the changes, such as certain people being there who weren't in the book.
Overall though it was pretty good. I don't watch the series but when I heard that they aired that episode I went on youtube to take a look.

wat. --- It was... redder in my mind. And I imagined a different kind of wedding feast. I guess I'll be slightly disappointed with Joffrey's as well. But it all felt very realistic. Now let's wait for the dog-headed guy next week.

| I have a funny feeling they may skip the whole Wolf-Head-On-Man-Thing. Dont know why, just a hunch.
And yeah got to agree with you on that Alexander. The one that annoyed me the most was Ros. Completely unnecessary character, despite the fact that she has cracking tits acting talent.

| I don't know, they did cut the dude's hand live, and also keep torturing the other on-screen. If they think the wolf's head is too much for their audience, - Spoiler:
then I fear for Tywin's scene as well.

| I think they captured the essence of the seen perfectly. I expect that we'll hear about the wolf head only, just like in the book. I had goosebumps and my heart started racing when the Rains of Castamere began to play. I agree with some responses I've heard about the gore... they could have chosen different shots, but then it's supposed to be a shocking scene so... back to the essence comment. All in all, I'm happy with it. There are changes I dislike compared to the books, but I prefer the show to Martin's purely agitating style anyway. One change in particular has me pondering.... - Spoiler:
Gendry filling in as an expanded Edric. What will his purpose be in later books that Martin allowed him to be used at Dragonstone?
As to Tywin's scene, I expect it to be quite similar to the book. Charles Dance has commented on the book scene with a strange kind of delight.

| Oh and the RW. obvious spoiler is obviously a spoiler - Spoiler:
The scene was creepier in the books, where the tension was build up much better. But when I saw Talisa at the feast I was shocked. The actress did a great job when she was the first to get stabbed and made it feel like I saw it all for the first time. (my mind's eye wasn't prepared for her in that scene.)
Worst thing, I had an important exam one hour after I finished watching it.

| Pride? There's no such thing on this side of the ocean.
300 years without sunset, that looks good on the CV. Although... if embassies also count as territories, then the Sun never sets, well, for anyone.

| If you count that large chunk of Antarctica, that no one recognizes save for others with large chunks of Antarctica, couldn't you say the sun never rises on the majority of landmass for part of the year? | |
