Background: The Duchess of Windholm, Lady Greysword, has imposed new taxes upon her duchy. Many commoners, under the command of butcher-turned-captain Barbarossa, have revolted. Conrad Valdor, head of the Merchant's Guild in Windholm, has also stood up to the Duchess. The Dawn Bishop, Gundar, has publicly called for peace and reconciliation.
Arrival: The various Order Knights arrived at the main gate and were stopped by the Duchess' guards. The Knights were eventually let into the city, on the condition that representatives of each Order attend an audience with the Duchess. Most Orders claimed to be in the city to end the revolt, while the reasons of some others were questioned. Lord Wulfred, Knight of the Lion, arrived on the arm of the Duchess' eldest daughter, and pledged to end the revolt. The Clarion Call was barred from the city by the Duchess.
Into the City: After the meeting with the Duchess, the Knights split up. The Dawn pressed towards the Astraean Church. The Gauntlet embarked on a shadowy pursuit. The Radiant Cross pressed into town on their own, and made use of their healing services. Trouble occurred in the stables, and the horses ran loose. The Eventide pressed deeper into the city. Most of the Knights entered a meeting with the Duchess' Captain, Jorm.
