| So, thoughts on the expansion? I'm really enjoying the Game of Pope. | |

| From what I've seen, starting as the only Jewish character is an insane challenge. Right up there with the Zoroastrian start. It's probably way easier via the Ruler Designer DLC, but certainly not easy! | |

| Yeah but with Zorastrianism you can marry your sister and be like a Middle Eastern Lannister.
Who doesn't want that?
On second thought, ew, that's gross.

| Technically, I think you can marry your sister and take any other sisters you might have as concubines. But that'll eventually give you the lovely inbred trait!
... stop looking at me like that.

| Wow, without France the New World look quite different. Who are the colonial powers now? | |

Don't click the link if you don't want spoilers!

| Colonial Powers (By Colony Strength)
1. Portugal
2. Genoa (Pretty much the only power in Africa)
3. Castille (Much less so than usual)
4. Great Britain (Has a tiny bit everywhere but the only significant regions are poor regions of Africa and the Middle East)
5. Brabant/Sweden. Both are pretty minor compared to the others, owning territories in NA and the Carribean.
No one has really gone into Asia at all. Britain has one region in India and I have a vassal there for a future invasion.
I'm currently leading in vassalized sovereign nations though, with 13 and rising.

| Started a game as Austria, I really tried to control myself, but an unexpected inheritance changed my plans. I promise, this wasn't the intention when I started out: (Specifically, I inherited Byzantium by a freak accident, and reclaimed Anataolia, then Sicily, then I inherited parts of spain, then southern italy, then I inherited half of france by another freak accident, then I claimed the HRE and fought them for the throne. Then I ousted the pope, conquered some heathens, and reformed Rome in 1272.) | |

| Reviving the topic because I have nothing better to do with my life: - Spoiler:
I was quite proud of this game, it was my earlier Germany formation yet, starting as Muenster and then forming Westphalia, then finally Germany. I *Did* cheat to give myself a monarchy so that I could get elected HRE which is a requirement to form Germany (In D&T, I forget the requirements for the base game). Only after I had met all territory requirements though. Since Muenster starts as a Theocracy I couldn't use royal marriages to form PUs or Diplo-Vassalize, so I pretty much had to war annex and war vassalize while not keeping any unlawful territory. Events and missions granting cores were pretty much my main source of land, I just acted on everything immediately. Kept Badboy pretty low really for how much land I amassed.
