I think this is an accurate description of your character's stats given the background and the current mechanics:

Scout 1 WP, 0 SK, 0 SP (base)
Good Proficiency: Bows and Polearms
Horseman and Tracker
3x Traits of your choosing
50 renown worth of equipment + 1 free weapon and armour.

Also legendary swordsman gives no skill bonus.. better drop that one! Especially since it costs 100 renown!
