Wyverns covered your plaguewardens with their shields.

Who were tagging along with morek more or less. If not right with him not too far behind.

At least that's my mental picture.

Edit: kind of like a fire and advance sort of thing. They'd be slower to approach and would explain why moreks group reached the griffons before the wyverns and plaguewardens

So, the plaguewardens can reload and shoot accurately while moving, and combine this with faster reload than those using bows...

You aren't the only one with supernatural abilities.

Firing wouldn't be done while moving though. They pause fire reload move forwards repeat.

Hence the delay in entering combat. However, they moved much closer last round since they couldn't shoot without killing allies.

I think we are all forgetting the most important issue: why the dragons no longer have lances.

They didn't have lances since day two of this forum... please keep up everyone!

I honestly have no idea about the equipment of the other Orders, but please.

Most Orders are considered Charger Cavalry (The Dawn in particular) where the bulk of their damage is done in the initial burst of carnage but they will struggle once that momentum is gone.

The Dragons are Shock Cavalry, their damage comes less from the charge, and more from the sheer bulk and elevated position of the rider. They are far better able to fight in a melee maelstrom, and do not rely on impact.

So what are the radiant cross in this class system? Heavy infantry? Specialist infantry?

Not to mention very good at killing snakes...

Id apologize but im more pleased with my wardens performance even with them being outnumbered and out gunned. I guess pairing them up with a shield buddy was a good choice.

The clarions should try using crossbows on horseback!

Alas, only Maiden Crossbows work on horseback. And they just don't have the stopping power!
